Readers' Choice for Favorite Agnostic / Atheist Website of 2011

Thinking Atheist

Readers picked The Thinking Atheist as their Favorite Atheist Web Site of 2011. Created by someone who is not just a former Christian, but also a former religious broadcaster, The Thinking Atheist is the product of many years of questioning, researching, and of course thinking.

It's not easy to let go of a worldview that one has not just been immersed in since childhood, but has become one's livelihood as well. The Thinking Atheist is one person's response to that — and it's quite an impressive response to. It's no wonder that it has received so much support from so many people because it provides a podcast, videos, a readers' forum, as well as text resources about religion and the Bible.

A single person writing for and managing a large, complex site isn't easy (I know, really), and that makes The Thinking Atheist all the more of an achievement. All the finalists for Favorite Atheist Web Site have a lot to offer, though, and you should bookmark them all for when you need to do research on some subject relating to atheism, secularism, science, etc.
