Definition: Parapscyhology is a science studying paranormal events which are centered around humans. Thus, parapsychology will study a person's alleged ESP abilities, but not reports of Bigfoot sightings. Parapsychologists attempt to collect sound evidence of such abilities and events and then try to formulate theories as to how they happen, thus putting belief in the paranormal on a more scientific basis instead of just using faith.
