Definition:
To say that a statement is "truth" is to say that it reflects the way things really are. What truth is beyond that is a matter of debate, with different philosophers offering different theories as to what truth is and how to distinguish truth from falsity.

Among these explanations are the correspondence, coherence, pragmatic, redundancy, and semantic theories of truth.
