Biography:
George William Foote was a British freethinker who was generally disposed to live a quiet life. However, he, like many others, became radicalized when Charles Bradlaugh was denied his elected seat in the House of Commons. Because of this outrage, he employed his abilities as a writer and a satirist to attack Christianity and other popular religious beliefs.

What is an Argument?

Assuming that we have established that we have an actual argument, the next step is to examine it for validity. There are two points on which an argument might fail: its premises or its inferences.
