John Gibson vs. Rob Boston: Unbalanced Fox & Christian Right Reveal True Colors
Crooks & Liars has a video, but you shouldn't watch it unless you have a strong stomach. It's difficult to watch a grown man have such a terrible emotional and mental breakdown. News Hounds has a detailed examination of the exchange:
(From this point on italicized parentheticals are Gibson interrupting.)
Yep, it was Boston laughing, and he says "You guys, you guys are rich. This stuff was made up. I called school superintendents and I said (Rob, Rob, Rob.) O'Reilly's telling people you can't have cookies in school (Rob, ROB, stop right there) shaped like angels, and he said that never happened. (Rob, ROB, ROB. STOP. RIGHT. THERE.) Gibson is now shouting and leaning forward in his seat.
Boston said, No, you're wrong, John, I'm not going to stop, you're telling... Gibson shouts over him that "Yeah, you are, the incidents in my book are not lies. McCaleb says something like "you need to get the truth in here John" and Gibson says "hang on , Gary. ROB, the incidents in my book are not lies. If you're calling me a liar, let's go one on one of it. Every one of those incidents in those books - I interviewed everyperson involved. There are no factual discrepancies. Don't call me a liar here when you don't know what you're talking about. "
Boston said "Anybody can call the Alliance Defense Fund and say hey, this happened in my community, that doesn't mean it happened. Gibson is now roaring over him "Hey ROB STRAIGHTEN UP. YOU JUST CALLED ME A LIAR. BACK UP YOUR CHARGES. (Which is kind of funny because he will not at this point let Boston speak at all.) Poor McCaleb is trying to get a word in, trying to calm Gibson (who is very Christmasy with his red face and white hair) and Gibson tells HIM to pipe down, resuming yelling at Boston: ROB, YOU JUST CALLED ME A LIAR. BACK UP YOUR CHARGES.
The Carpetbagger reports on what happened after Gibson cut Boston off:
Gibson's producer called Rob's cell, saying, "John's really upset that you called him a liar." The producer asked if Rob would be willing to appear on Gibson's radio show for Round Two. Rob, who managed to keep his cool while Gibson became unhinged, said he would.
Before they could schedule an appearance, Gibson got on the phone to start screaming again. Rob, who does not suffer fools kindly, told Gibson the truth — explaining calmly that Gibson is a clown, Fox News is a joke, and their nonsense is demagoguery.
Rob could practically hear Gibson's head exploding over the phone. Eventually, Gibson said, "Don't come in where I drink… Don't come visit a bar when I'm in there." After Rob asked if Gibson was threatening him, Gibson hung up on him.
He's willing to return? I'm not sure whether that's more impressive or more foolish — I suppose the former, but I can't help but keep wondering if there's a bit of the latter involved. Is it worth it? Well, an appearance like this proves that people like John Gibson are completely unhinged, but progressives either don't need to know or already knew. The questions are, then, will others come to this realization and will this make a difference?
Will people inclined to support and agree with John Gibson see his antics and start to think "wow, this guy is nuts while Boston was calm and cool — is there something I've been missing?" If so, then Boston's appearances are worth the personal sacrifice. If not, then what does he accomplish? I'd like to think that he is accomplishing something, but I'm just not sure what it is.

This story is bolony. You can’t just go up to a respectable personnel and call them a liar! especially without credible proof, in my dictionary thats clearly an offence and John Gibson has the right to get pissed off, but hey! maybe liberals might see this and make a law banning people from disagreeing with others without having credible evidence.
