Daily Poll: Has Reality Played a Big Role in the Bush Administration's Policies?

It's common for people to counter the actions and arguments of the Bush administration with their own arguments based upon what they believe to be facts. This may be a mistake because so much of what the Bush administration does is predicated on ideology - and ideology can be more about the construction of fantasy rather an a foundation on facts or reality. What do you think?

Daily Poll: How important has reality been in the formation of the Bush administration's policies?

  1. Very important - all decisions are based upon accurate assessments of reality.
  2. Moderately important - sometimes ideology overtakes reality in the decisions.
  3. Not important - all decisions are based upon ideology; reality is scrubbed to match expectations.
  4. I don't know.
  5. I don't care.
