No Safe Time for Sex?

Traditional medical wisdom has it that women ovulate once each month - but what if that wisdom were incorrect? A recent study done by Canadian researchers indicates that it very likely is incorrect - at least for a significant minority of women. According to scientists at the University of Saskatchewan, 40 percent of all women probably have the potential of producing eggs two or three times during a given menstrual cycle.

These findings not only explain why some women are able to get pregnant even while doing everything right while using chemical birth control, it also demonstrates that for many women the so-called "natural planning" method of birth control is simply without value:

"We all know people trying to use natural family planning, and we have a word for those people. We call them parents," says Pierson.

It's another example of the self-correcting methodology underlying scientific medicine.
