Book of Proverbs:
Traditionally included with the Bible's wisdom literature, the book of Proverbs essentially serves as a sort of teaching guide for Jews after their return from the Babylonian Captivity. The Hebrew title is masal, which usually means something like "comparison." Although collected after the exile, some portions probably date back to a time even before the monarchy and written by a wide variety of people.
