Letter to the Hebrews:
The letter to the Hebrews was traditionally ascribed to Paul, but scholars today
reject this and believe that an anonymous author wrote it at some point before the end
of the first century CE. The primary focus of this letter is the supremacy of Christ
over all other beings in creation and it seems to have been designed for Jewish
Christians, thus the emphasis in the letter on the Jewish heroes of the past.
