Kenneth Hagin

Born: 1917
Died: September 19, 2003
Rhema Bible Training Center USA founded: 1974

Kenneth Hagin was first ordained in the Pentecostal denomination Assemblies of God in 1927 and has become known for developing the doctrine widely called "Faith Formula." According to Hagin (and those who have adopted his ideas into their own ministries), every human being has a right to health, wealth and power simply because they have been reborn as a Christian.

This has not been accepted by everyone, not even all Pentecostals - it does, after all, conflict with the traditional Christian doctrine that one must be willing to suffer for their faith. Nevertheless, it has obvious appeal and helped Hagin in his career.

What is the Philosophy of Religion?
Sometimes confused with theology, the Philosophy of Religion is the philosophical study of religious beliefs, religious doctrines, religious arguments and religious history.
