Definition:
Christian Identity is a violent sect of Christianity which promotes the idea that White
Aryans are the true Chosen People of God while Jews (along with other minorities, but
especially Jews) are the spawn of Satan.
Christian Identity derives from British Israelism, an ideology of the 19th century which argued that the British people were the true Israel. It was developed originally by John Wilson whose work, Lectures on Our Israelitish Origin, became popular among middle-class British and Irish audiences. According to Wilson, Jesus was not Semitic but rather Aryan and that the Israelite tribes of the Northern Kingdom were blue-eyed Aryans who ended up in the British Isles.
