Acts of the Apostles:
The fifth book of the New Testament, the Acts of the Apostles is supposed to depict
the development of the Christian community about thirty years after Jesus is supposed
to have died. It appears to have been written by the author of the Gospel of Luke, and
may have been intended as a sequel to it. Outside of some parallel information from
Paul, this is the only record we have of what might have been happening among the
earliest Christians.
