Definition:
In astrology, a planet can be in its "exaltation" or in its "fall," depending upon which sign
it can be seen in. A planet is in its "exaltation" when it is in a sign which astrologers believe
shares affinites with the planet - for example, Mars is said to be in exaltation when it is
seen in the sign of Capricorn. A planet is in its "fall," however, when it can be seen in a
sign which has opposite characteristics - for example, Mars is said to be in its fall when
it can be seen in the sign of Cancer.

The second section is about Skeptical Investigations - the practical application of the critical thinking skills covered in the first section. Here you will find critiques of things like astrology, alternative medicine, parapsychology, the New Age and more.
