Definition:
In Judaism a kaddish an eschatological Jewish prayer focused
on praising God's majesty. It is supposed to be recited at the end of each major
portion of a religious service. A kaddish may also be said regularly during
the first year of mourning by those in shiva or sheloshim.
A longer version, often known as a rabbinic kaddish, follows portions of religious study.
