Definition:
The Universal House of Justice is the principle ruling body for members of the Baha'i
religion, who regard its decisions as divinely inspired. The members of the House
of Justice, currently nine, were first elected in 1963 by representatives of all national
Baha'i assemblies. Elections occur again every five years.
