Definition:
The human faculty of reason is our ability to think critically and rationally about matters in an
effort to establish a truth or likely truth as opposed to a falsehood or likely falsehood. Through
the use of reason, we are able to develop logically coherent ideas and principles which guide us in
our actions and beliefs.
