Definition:
Qualia is the label given to the intrinsic but subjective features of human consciousness.
Examples of qualia include what it is like to see another person, to feel the pain
of stubbing your toe, to taste an apple, to hear music, etc.
Explaining the nature of qualia is one of the basic problems involved with explaining human consciousness, especially in terms of how it arises out of the physical brain.
