Definition:
The naturalistic fallacy is said to occur when someone argues about what ought to happen using as their premises only what is the case. The fallacy is usually criticized as deriving ought from is.

The original idea of this being a fallacy was presented by G.E. Moore in his book Principia Ethics in 1903, but not everyone agrees that this is a fallacy.
