Definition:
The concept of "intersubjective" is used as something distinct from both objective and subjective. A quality is labeled intersubjective when it holds in reference to more than one subject. Thus, it is not purely subjective, but it is also not regarded as completely objective, either. For example, the foul smell of sulfur might be considered intersubjective because it is the sort of quality which will find widespread agreement.
