Definition:
This is a theory originally promoted by Aristotle, stating that the aim of a good
life is personal happiness or well-being. Happiness is thus defined as the pinnacle
of excellence.
Normally, eudaemonism is concerned with the attainment of some objectively defined happiness, rather than simply the subjective experience of pleasure.
