Definition:
The Sikh Dharma is a an organization founded by Harbhajan Singh Puri in the United
States in the late 1960s for the purpose of helping and ministering to American
converts to Sikhism. It is also known as the 3HO Foundation, which stands for the
"Healthy, Happy and Holy Organisation."
Harbhajan Singh Puri originally arrived in Canada in 1969 but soon moved to Los Angeles where he started to call himself Yogi Bhajan. Many of the things Bhajan taught were not in accordance with orthodox Sikh teachings and most Sikhs do not consider his group to be genuinely Sikh at all.
