Definition:
In Hinduism, moksha means liberation or freedom and refers to the idea of
attaining liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth, samsara. The
freedom of moksha is achieved through learning how to be detached from
desire and personal identity. The idea is also used by Jains and a similar
concept, known as nirvana, is used by Buddhists.
