Definition: In Hinduism, jnana marga is one of the three principle ways of achieving salvation. The term means "way of knowledge," and just what sort of "knowledge" is required differs from one branch of Hinduism to the next.
The other two paths are bhakti-marga (salvation through faith and/or love) and karma-marga (salvation through acts).
