Definition: The term bhakti-marga is a path of devotion, love and faith. In practice, it refers to one of the three primary paths of salvation which are available in Hinduism. The other two paths are karma-marga (salvation through works) and jnana-marga (salvation through knowledge).

Those who follow this path are called bhaktas, and there are many of them in both Vishnu and Shiva forms of Hinduism. One of the primary works which expounds upon this path is the Bhagavad Gita, although there are a large number of other works which do as well.
