C. S. Lewis, noted author and Christian apologist, died.

According to the American Journal of Psychiatry, research done by the University of Southern California on 1,000 Mauritian children reveals that there is a strong correlation between malnutrition and a poor diet on the one side with a low IQ and anti-social behavior on the other.
