There are a wide variety of practical social and political goals which link groups in the Religious Right, so it is worth exploring some of those issues. People need to be particularly careful of how the rhetoric of the radical/religious right is packaged. Divisions between the groups can be unclear, and it is not at all uncommon for extremist group to downplay some of their worst ideologies while emphasizing those doctrines which are more likely to attract people, like pushing for lower taxes.
