Nike from the Temple of Athena Nike Apteros, Acropolis

One of the most famous temples dedicated (at least in part) to Nike is the Temple of Athena Nike Apteros on the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. This image comes from a frieze that was on that temple and is currently in the Acropolis Museum. Made of marble, it depicts Nike adjusting one of her sandals.
