Hera was married to her brother, the Zeus. They had a difficult relationship and once she helped the other gods try to overthrow him. He escaped and made her promise never to try again, but that didn't stop her from seeking to undermine him whenever possible. This image comes from the Temple of Hera at Selinus, c. 470-460 BCE, and shows Hera revealing herself to Zeus - possibly on their wedding night.
This wasn't an entirely voluntary marriage for her. Zeus had long tried to seduce her without success but he managed to trick her by turning himself into a small bird. When he changed back her surprise was so great that he was able to rape her - and then suggested a marriage in order to hide her shame.
