Dionysus with Ariadne

Dionysus married Ariadne, mortal daughter of King Minos of Crete. Ariadne was the woman who helped Theseus defeat the Minotaur in the Cretean Labaryinth and she left Crete with him, but he eventually abandoned her on Naxos. Dionysus found her, fell in love with her, and married her.
