Temple of Hephaestus

 

Some believe that the Temple of Hephaestus was originally dedicated to Eukleia (Artemis), but that is still uncertain. Within the temple it is known that there were two cult statues: one for Hephaestus and one for Athena. Because of this the structure is sometimes referred to as the Temple of Hephaestus and Athena Ergane
