The Temple of Hephaistos (Hephaestus) is a Doric peripteral temple that has 6 columns along the front and 13 along the side. In the history books it is usually referred to as the Hephaiseion and, in the past, was once known as the Theseion (a name still occasionally seen). It measures 3.71m x 38.24m and was built around 449 BCE.
