If anyone has any sites they would like to recommend a link to, they are welcome to submit those links - every request will be considered, but not all sites are accepted. But if you want to increase the chances of your link being added to our selective directory, it will help to follow the guidelines below.
If you have already submitted something that does not follow these guidelines, you can of course resubmit it - just make a note of that in the body of your message so that I can delete your earlier request.
Criteria for Suggested Links:
- Indicate which category or sub-category you feel the site belongs in or suggest a new category (note: creation of a new category is dependent upon having enough links to fill it - a single link isn't enough)
- Accepted submissions are usually deep links to a specific page - home pages and index pages are rarely used.
- If you use URL hiding or other techniques that make deep links difficult, your submission may not be accepted.
- If your site uses frames, make sure you have provided a way for a visitor to access the other parts of your site and deep link.
- It can help to suggest a title and description for your submission. I reserve the right to change titles and descriptions, but quality suggestions (without hype) may be used.
- Pages should be fast loading with intuitive navigation. Pages which are overloaded with large graphics or applets are unlikely to be accepted.
- Content should be well written and easy to follow. Pages which are hard to understand or read are unlikely to be accepted.
Since I receive many submissions each week, your patience is appreciated. The review process can often take a month or two. Submissions that follow these guidelines are usually added sooner. Submissions that do not follow these guidelines are placed at the bottom of the queue and receive the least priority.
All accepted sites will receive a confirmation email with a link to the location of your submission. If you haven't heard back within 12 weeks, you may resubmit your site.
Please note that the only pages here which you may submit to are those which have /cs/ in their URL.
