Book Review: Shinto
Because the Shinto religion has been integral to Japanese culture for millennia,
understanding Japan requires some understanding of Shinto. In addition, most
people may not realize that the development of Buddhism has been heavily

Japanese see no conflict in claiming adherence to both. Thus, each has affected
the other in a myriad of ways.
Book Review: Sexual Shame

to scandals, abuse and worse. How should Christians deal with this?
History: Papal Antimodernism

condemning the "modernist" movement developing within Christianity.
History: Charles S. Peirce
On September 10, 1839, Charles S. Peirce, founder of the American school of
philosophy known as Pragmatism, was born.
