What is Agnosticism?
Misunderstandings about agnosticism are just as frequent as misunderstandings about atheism.

Atheism vs. Agnosticism: What's the Difference?
Many people who adopt the label of agnostic reject the label of atheist - there is a common perception that agnosticism is a more "reasonable" position while atheism is more "dogmatic," ultimately indistinguishable from theism except in the details.

Philosophy of Agnosticism
Agnosticism plays an important role in the philosophy of religion because it poses a serious challenge to those theologians and philosophers who argue that knowledge about gods is possible. If agnosticism can be successfully defended, then the efforts of many religious apologists can be called into serious question, if not rejected entirely as a castle built upon sand.
