Stephen Baldwin: Poor Actor, Christian Crank

Friday January 20, 2006
There are several Baldwins involved with acting in movies; one of the most forgettable is Stephen Baldwin. Is it possible that this is a reason why he has started photographing employees and customers of an adult entertainment store? The store is legal and the products it sells are legal, but Baldwin wants the place shut down and is not above intimidating people in order to do it.

Wing Nut Daily reports on one of their own:

The actor says he plans to stand outside the store every day and photograph license plates of its patrons until the business closes. He will, he threatens, identify the store’s customers and pay for a one-page newspaper ad each month to publish their names.

Remember, it’s Christians in America who are persecuted. Any suggestion that Christian are doing the persecuting is just a sign that one is part of the vast anti-Christian conspiracy in this country.

“In my position, I just don’t think I’m supposed to keep my faith to myself,” Baldwin told a group of Texas Southern Baptists in 2004. “I’m just doing what the Lord’s telling me to do. You know, if the Lord’s not telling anybody else [in Hollywood] to [talk publicly about their faith], well, then God bless ‘em. But I don’t think that’s the case. I think there are a lot of people who don’t put their faith before everything else, you know. And that’s a big problem. I’m just doing what the Lord’s calling me to do. Period.”

If Stephen Baldwin is hearing voices, he might want to consider seeking professional treatment. There are medications out there which can help a great deal with such problems. Of course, when the voices tell a person what they already happen to believe and already want to do, there isn’t much incentive to seek help. As with alcoholism, the first step in getting better is simply being able to admit that you have a problem in the first place.

This article is ridiculous. Insulting Stephen Baldwin’s acting and telling him to get on meds for speaking out against porn is CHILDISH and comes off weak. If you don’t like what he has to say or anyone else who is bold enough to stand up for what they believe in, then instead of writing stupid articles that are the equivalent to giving him a prank phone call, get out there, stand next to him and tell the world that you think porn is great. Be brave, like Stephen, quit taking the cowards way out by insulting him on the net!

“..one of the most forgettable [actors] is Stephen Baldwin. Is..this why he has started photographing..customers of an adult entertainment store?” How can those 2 sentences be compared? There’s no reasonable cause and effect there. Would you still criticize him if he weren’t a Christian and did the same thing? Probably not. Pornography is disrespect to the women in the lives of the men involved in it. Get over your vanity and your self worshipping religion.

Yes, there is: he has so failed in one career that he has gone into a worse one.

Would you still criticize him if he weren’t a Christian and did the same thing?

Absolutely.

Probably not. Pornography is disrespect to the women in the lives of the men involved in it. Get over your vanity and your self worshipping religion.

1. You’re the one making assumptions about me.

2. I don’t have any religion, self-worshipping or not.

Let me ask you a question. Do you believe that you are a good person?

I disagree with you and I like Stephen. I feel sorry for you.

I disagree with you

Do you have any particular reasons for doing so? Can you point to any errors I have made, for example?

and I like Stephen.

I would suggest that liking a person or not should be irrelevant when it comes to evaluating their arguments.

I feel sorry for you.

Why, because I am critical of Stephen Baldwin?
