Saturday July 31, 2004
July 31, 2003: Pope John Paul II calls upon Catholic politicians around the world to do all they can to oppose laws that would recognize same-sex unions as valid marriages and laws that would allow same-sex couples to adopt children on an equal basis with heterosexual couples.
