Jesus Downsized

Monday April 26, 2004
In todays job market, fewer people are expected to do more work - and that means that people who don't go the extra distance can't always count on keeping their jobs. Apparently, the same is true of saviors as well: if you don't show a profit, you may be downsized

According to BBSpot, Jesus has been downsized and removed from the Holy Trinity:

Citing poor performance and recent scandals within the church, it was decided that rightsizing in management was in order. "It is with some sadness, but with great hope for the future that we make this move," said Heaven spokesperson Archangel Gabriel. While a surprise to many, some analysts expected such a move. "Given the poor profits, and benefits of outsourcing, it was only a matter of time before Heaven responded to market conditions," explained Tim Williamson with First Boston.

I hope that Jesus saved up for a rainy day like this. The next time you see a man begging on the street corner, holding a sign saying "will work for food," who knows... maybe it really is Jesus.
