Believers typically tak their Bible very seriously - so seriously, in fact, that they don't like it when others disagree with how they read the Bible. Lenny St. Laurent may have discovered that - he alleges that he was dragged from his car and beaten after a very heated Bible Study session at his church.

Gary E. Lindsay writes for the Caledonian Record (via "Gullibility"):

St. Laurent, declining to say what the discussion was about, says he left the church and was in his car when [Rev. Ralph] Green and three other people pulled and dragged him from the passenger side of his car. ... They punched and kicked me and threw me to the ground," St. Laurent said.

Green denies the whole thing and says that the young man's injuries were sustained by a fall that happened before he ever came to church. The state police are investigating and there is no word on what the truth really is yet...
