Creationist Museum Nears Completion
The Cincinnati Post reports:
Many of the exhibits will center on the story of creation in the Book of Genesis, using evidence that the ministry believes supports the view that God created the world in six days about 6,000 years ago. The museum expects to attract about 100,000 visitors a year. Because Answers in Genesis is building the museum entirely with donations, construction will progress as funds become available.
I'm curious about what they hope to achieve. It's not as though they are making any contribution to either science or to the public's understanding of science. Will they make it clear that they are teaching religion - specifically, a religious perspective shared by some, but not all, Christians? I doubt it...
