Everyone's a Sodomite

Andrew Sullivan explains in a recent column that at one time or another, nearly every sexual practice outside of sex in specific positions for the purpose of procreation has been grouped under the term "sodomy" - this means, of course, that just about everyone out there could be called a sodomite. The recent Supreme Court decision striking down a Texas law against homosexual sodomy is simply one of the final steps in a long process of modernizing our understanding of sex and sexuality.
