This post is rather old, but it warrants a rebuttal nevertheless.
I approve of the Boy Scouts of America refusing to allow homosexual men to lead in their organization. I also approve of the Girl Scouts policy not to allow male leaders.
Stop interfering in the private choices of a private organization.
That’s disagreement, not rebuttal. A “rebuttal” involves an argument that seeks to establish an opposite position.
Since when is it “interfering” to object and criticize? You’re objecting and criticizing here, but I’m not complaining about you “interfering” with my ideas. Why? Because you aren’t interfering — and neither am I in my criticism of the Boy Scouts. They have a right to be bigoted and discriminatory; they don’t have a right to be free from criticism of consequences.
The BSA deserves to keep losing money as a consequence of their bigotry and discrimination.
