Tom Cruise Lobbies for Scientology

According to the Washington Post, movie star Tom Cruise has been to Washington D.C. to lobby on behalf of Scientology, the religious organization of which he has long been an outspoken member and advocate. MSNBC reports that he may have been trying to get government funding for Scientology through President Bush's Faith Based initiatives.
