The reification fallacy or hypostatization fallacy occurs whenever a person ascribes real existence to an abstract concept of mental construct. This is classified as a fallacy of ambiguity because treating something abstract as if it were real introduces ambiguity into an argument: it's not clear how, exactly, the term is used.
