It's absurd enough that a forbidden tree would be created in the first place -- why have a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil at all, if no one is allowed to eat from it? But if God is going to create such a tree, why place it in the middle of a garden of plants that are permitted food? Why not plant the tree elsewhere?
