Pat Robertson: Atheists Want You to be Miserable

By November 29, 2012

Follow me on:

Did you know that atheists are not only all miserable, but also want everyone else to be miserable too? Of course not, because it's not true - but Pat Robertson think it's true. What's more, it's something he's thinks is important enough to announce on his television program.

This is not the first time that Pat Robertson has said something nonsensical, false, or both. It's also not the first time that Robertson has expressed bigotry towards others and I'm sure that it won't be the last.

It's, well, Christmas all over again. The grinch is trying to steal our holiday.

It's been so beautiful. The nation comes together and we sing christmas carols. We give gifts to each other uh... we have uh... lighted treason and it's just a beautiful thing.

Atheists don't like your happiness. They don't want you to be happy they want you to be miserable. They're miserable so they want you to be miserable. So they want to steal your holiday away from you.

I've never seen any evidence that he cares very much about reality, just about reinforcing his own religious ideology. I have to wonder about those people who consistently watch his television program. Do they think they are learning anything new? Do they imagine that Pat Robertson has anything even vaguely useful to say to the world?

Lawrence O’Donell does a rather nice job demonstrating how completely “full of it” Pat Robertson truly is.
How?
By pointing out, using atheist comedian Ricky Gervais as his model, how much more “Christ-like” an atheist can be, in comparison.

Robertson is living proof of a well educated person who has no common sense. Thomas Paine wrote about the common sense principal a long time ago. and it still holds true. People who listen to the Robertson,s of this world have never cracked a science book. It’s a shame. Lee Martin, Akron, Ohio.

Even well educated people can be full of denial and it depends on what you are well educated in. If it’s a religion such as Pat believes in (his education is unknown to me other than his form of christianity) then we know the answer to that.

Pat Robertson is far from ignorant. He is far wealthier than the average person because he has learned to extract wealth from the ignorance of others. The ultimate con because it cannot be disproven.

Robertson is a truly despicable man. However, his success is a testament to just how credulous many Americans are.

What planet does Robertson live on? I wish people like Pat knew where Christmas really came from. What we know as Christmas far pre-dates Christianity. Christians believe what they want to believe, and what grand bullshit it is. Pat Robertson: One of the main reasons why I hate Christianity and Christians.

Some people get old and senile, and they can’t do anything about their declining faculties.

It’s absurd to be harsh against someone for being gay because they were born with their homosexuality. By the same token, old and senile people are stuck with their loss of cognitive abilities, so isn’t it equally absurd to be harsh against a demented old man like Pat Robertson?
