Structures of authority may be a necessary precondition for the functioning of human groups, but that doesn't mean that authority is always used for the good purposes, whether from the perspective of insiders or outsiders. On the contrary, positions and structures of authority are readily given to abuse and easily result in oppression, repression, and even violence.

Salt Lake City is notorious for keeping people out if they are not Mormons. It is even worse if they criticise them. What’s more they claim that the recognize only merit. Isn’t that the way this country organizes itself into the ins or the outs regardless of religion? Of course. That is why we are now governed by crooked two year olds with nukes.

Could the absolute irrelevance of your comments to their corresponding articles have anything to do with why your messages are wiped? Most people understand that “comments” means comment on the article, not on anything (or in your case the one thing) you’re interested in.
