It has become almost a cliche for the Christian Right to denigrate the idea that women should be able to make their own decisions about their reproductive organs, their reproductive processes, and whether they will even reproduce or not. In effect, this takes very basic decisions about a woman's body and bodily functions away from her -- but if she is not in control of them, who is? Power and authority over women's reproductive processes are placed in the hands of men: whether it's men in their lives like husbands and fathers or predominantly male institutions like churches.

This is why it is so very important for people to get out and vote for the POTUS this November. If anyone heard McCain’s comment on choosing judges for SCOTUS, you know how important it is to remove the GOP threat to our liberties and civil rights, not to mention keeping the Constitution intact.
If you care about Roe v. Wade and other rights, the Democrats are our only choice. Whether Hillary or Obama, preserving our country’s future is in our hands. Don’t leave it up to chance. VOTE!
McCain is NOT an option, even if your favorite didn’t make it as nominee!
Don’t let that blind you to the real issues. Obama or Hillary are the last chance for decades to get back on track and prevent further shredding of our Constitution.

That’s a message which needs to be continually emphasized in the lead up to the Fall election. It may, indeed, take some extra emailing, etc., to the Democratic candidates, as well as to the various, rather oblivious, media venues. The extremely important Supreme Court issue hasn’t been discussed nearly enough, if at all, by either Obama or Clinton. We’re on the verge, with this election, of either stopping or giving in completely to the decades long major agenda of the Extreme Right Wing Dominionist ‘Wingnuts’.
Yeah…voting Democratic cannot be stressed enough in this most crucial election!
