I agree that some Xian nationalists have characteristics of fascists.
What do you think of the new book Liberal Fascists by Jonah Goldberg? According to one review (iht.com, 2008/01/30), the book says that mainstream American liberalism also exhibits characteristics of fascism, and that this association goes all the way back to Woodrow Wilson.
Completely lacking in any redeeming qualities.
The only people who do not recognize fascism as a movement from the right are those lacking even rudimentary historical knowledge and those lacking enough rudimentary honesty to prevent them from promoting egregious lies for the sake of their twisted ideology. In the latter camp I would tend to count fascists who want to disguise their fascism.
