A forum member writes: As a general rule, and for several years now, I have avoided killing insects when ever possible. Which usually involves a good amount of capturing and putting outside. I wouldn't want to die by the whim of a powerful being that I never did anything to, so I don't kill them. Also, I use Rawls argument about the 'veil of ignorance' to marginally justify my position. I don't find the argument that I am human and they are bug compelling in that context.
