A forum member writes: While the political majority stand gnashing their teeth at the anti-majoritarian "obstructionist" tactics (judge issues), they boastfully promise their own obstruction of the apparent "will of the majority" in seeking to advance stem-cell research. Even to the point of presidential veto. And consider this "culture of life." Just yesterday a man was executed, who had requested a "stay" so that he could donate a kidney to his ailing sister. Who opposed this request? The staunch conservative "pro-life', pro-capital punishment types.
